3. Click the Outlook.com menu/logo in the upper left corner. The Application menu will drop down from the top of the screen.
4. Click the People tile. The People app will appear. At this point, you can import contacts from Facebook, Twitter, Google or Yahoo!. You will need your user ID and password from those systems. Click the icon of the social network or email service you wish to import contacts from and follow the on screen instructions. They are reasonably easy to follow and shouldn’t be confusing.
Repeat the process with as many social networks or sources for contacts as are supported or until you’re done. If you still need to add additional contacts that come from an unsupported import source, you’re likely going to need to add them manually. Get yourself back to the main people screen (the last screen shot, above). Use the following steps to create a contact record from scratch.
1. Click the plus sign near the word “New,” near the top of the main People screen. The Add new contact screen appears.
