PhotoMagic is designed to help you improve your photo collection. It’s actually a package of several different photography programmes bundled together to enable you to repair, resize and print your images. The package includes PhotoArtist Express, PhotoClean Express, PhotoEffect Express, PhotoZoom and PhotoPrint. For those with a little technical know-how, it’s relatively easy to use. And because it’s one of the cheaper photography software packages around, it won’t hurt your pocket too much. Aimed at the hobbyist rather than the professional, this package has plenty of fun features, including lots of novelty frames to show off your favourite pictures.

Pros: One of the best features of PhotoMagic is that it includes a quick web photo resizing tool that makes sure you get the most optimal size and resolution for online images. This can be especially useful if you’re importing different size or resolution pictures from various phones or cameras. 

Cons: Because PhotoMagic is a bundle of five separate programmes, this can make it quite clumsy to use and in many ways, it would be better to have the separate programmes properly integrated. 

Conclusion: PhotoMagic is pretty cheap and it’s fairly easy to use. The range of filters and frames mean that you can add lots of fun features to your photos without having to have very much technical knowledge. However, if ease of use is your main consideration, then there are simpler packages around.
