Hide IP Platinum just don't buy it I did and regret it
After reading the reviews albeit none posted recently i went ahead and paid £22 GBP for a licence code.
After unlocking the product I tried to use it. Completely rubbish, the Hide IP Platinum 3.42 icon in the system tray just keeps spinning making no contact with any proxy servers. I tried "Updating" the proxy list which it reported "Update success" so i know the thing isn't firewalled out and then after many repeated attempts it finally finds a prxy in the USA. The only trouble is that this proxy is so dammed slow you just give up even trying to load the first page pof your browser. Numerous E-Mails to Volcano Force got absolutely no response either from using their E-Mail contact page on their web site or E-Mailing the directly giving them all the info they asked for. So what have I got. A lot of wasted time and a wallet which is £22 lighter. Buy it at your peril!!!
