IOLO produces junk
* Freq. random crashes
* Devours resources, screws ports & trips up email server, intrnt
prgrams & Skype
* Cust. Ser = nil - just automd respnses, no refund
* Illogical settings, poor GUI
* All marketing fluff and not enough attention towards resolving the
many common (serious) problems listed in their tech support section of
their site. Check it out. This is the only support you'll get.
* SOME of the major damages done by unpacking SMP7 onto my decent XPSP2
system:
1. a signfcntly slowed system (sacrificed my XP amenities i.e. visual skin, screensavers, fonts, 32-bit to 16-bit monitor, etc ... just to get the system to move 1/2 as fast as it was b/4 I installed SM Pro!)
2. a maimed and no longer workable email software server (Moz.
Thunderbird)(either for sending or receiving mail) - countless important
emails from the past 3 days un-downloadable and now no longer on my server.
3. a system that constantly crashes when it attempts to run.
4. worst = lost time(24 hours over the last 3 days) not including time
wasted on a useless tech support & lost money ($200 in repairs to get
SMP7 out of my system)
Needless suffering can be avoided by staying clear of this product!
