After you just start the application it is important to make a quick scan of the system. In few minutes the application will show the status of your PC. Depending on this status you can choose the appropriate function to run.

All tasks can be automated and reports can be created in order to keep track of the system changes. The thing I like the most is the feature called 'PC TotalCare'. This is a single click optimization tool. Using it is a pleasure because it will fix problems and optimize your system, all in one sitting.

Pluses: The price is low for such an application; a lot of functions which normally are not included in such applications; the results can be seen very soon, after you have used it

Drawbacks / flaws: You cannot install the firewall and antivirus features in case you have already installed a different antivir or firewall.

In conclusion: Besides TuneUp Utilities and Ashampoo WinOptimizer, System Mechanic is one of the good applications in this area of softwares
