Easy Currency Converter 3.5

If you often have to convert money from one currency to another, it would be a good idea to acquire a software that serves this purpose. Easy Currency Converter is a simple currency calculator and bases its cross-currency calculations on the US Dollar. This means that if you, for example, convert Euro to Yen, it will first convert Euro to Dollar and then Dollar to Yen. This process is invisible to the user.

After you install the program you need to update the currency exchange rates. This is done clicking the Update button and is only possible if you have an Internet connection. Next you'll have to wait for the program to download the exchange rates from the publisher's website.

Pluses: The time when the exchange rate was last updated is displayed in the bottom left corner, on the status bar.

Drawbacks / flaws: The program stops responding while downloading the exchange rates. Easy Currency Converter also freezes when you try to set it to show all currencies from the main menu after you enter a sum to convert.

In conclusion: If the program would have been more stable, I would have recommended it to anyone searching for an easy way to convert currencies. It isn't, so, I'm waiting for the next version.
