 | | Ram Def Xtreme is a small tool that can be used in order to defragment your system's memory.
It can run in silent mode, defragmenting the memory and then shutting itself down. Or it can run in tray mode, monitoring your RAM level from the system tray. The third mode is the normal mode when it runs like a normal application that can be minimized to the system tray.
The memory management is quite good and it can defragment automatically your memory when the critical level is reached. You can set up manually the critical level or let the default setting, less than 1/3 of RAM. Usually is not recommended to set very high values for the critical level because freeing to much memory might slow down your computer.
The application can start automatically with Windows and it can start directly into the system tray. There are the minimal settings that you would need from this kind of application.
Pluses: a free application that can monitor and defragment your RAM. It can be very useful if you are running lots of applications but you are not using all of them at once.
Drawbacks / flaws: if you will set a too high critical level and the automatic defragment option is on it might slow down your computer.
In conclusion: this application is completely free so it's worth at least trying it.
