 | | If you own a digital camera and like to take lots of photos butyou're tired of renaming each one of them individually in order to remember it's story over the years, you might think to use a batch renaming software.
'Flash Renamer' is meant to help you with the renaming process of your files. The amount of settings make the program seem difficult to use. You can set the attributes and the dates, or the format of the name. The program can rename even the files located in the subfolders of a folder.
If you use a counter along with the name for the files, this counter can be reset for each folder. The user interface is well structured so you have the settings area on the left and in the right side you'll see the imported files as well as the preview of the name as it will look after the renaming process. The interesting part is that you can create presets for renaming commands which can be later used so you don't have to make the same settings twice.
For those who are not familiar with file renamers, when you start the program, a quick guide will pop-up, helping you to get started.
Pluses: It offers many settings which can help you to batch rename your files.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: The user interface is very well structured which make this tiny utility a very easy to use and useful application.
