| | Mouse Tamer is a system utility that enables a user to record mouse movement from the screen. It also allows you to send a keystroke, or even type text into any application. You can, of course, record everything you do on your screen and then play it back whenever you want. This is useful, for example, when you have a repetitive task that you must perform on your computer.
The program shows a list containing your actions or recordings, which can be ordered however you want. This list can be saved to your computer using a proprietary format. Beside the fact that you can save, you can also insert scripts into other scripts.
The most simple way to use the program is to record, by carrying out a sequence of mouse movements and commands once, and let the application "remember" your actions. Inserting pauses, launching Internet URLs or files from your computer, and even closing the program is supported.
Pluses: You can control the playback speed of your scripts.
Drawbacks / flaws: No undo function is available. If you modify your script by mistake, you won't be able to recover the recording.
In conclusion: Mouse Tamer automates tasks that you perform on your desktop.
