 | | Print Switch enables you to change the default printer or fax in Windows.
In order to change the default printer, you normally have to go to "Control Panel" and click on "Printers and Faxes". Once you open this window, you need to right click a printer and set it to be the default one.
With Print Switch, you can change the default printer by right clicking the program's system tray icon. Basically, this simple program is a tray icon with a right-click dialog.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: The "Printer/Fax Properties" menu entry doesn't open a configurable dialog, so it can't be used. Another thing that I find quite funny is the application's help file. You have there the definition of an "Active Window", of an "Icon", of a "Drop-Down List", and so on. The publisher's list of system requirements states that in order to run the program you must have at least one floppy drive. Well, I don't, but the program worked just fine.
In conclusion: If you change the default printer a lot, you might find this useful. However, I still don't think that it's worth its money.
