 | | 'Laser Dolphin' is a nice 2D action game.
The story of this game is very simple. There is a 'bad guys' team, which includes all the enemies, and the 'good guys' team, which includes the Dolphin.
The 'bad guys' are aliens who kidnap the President. The Dolphin receives a call and the action begins.
The game is easy in the beginning. The 'how-to-play' tutorial is integrated into the first levels. After you pass a level, the game will show you new commands that can be useful in future battles.
When advancing levels, the experience gain is compensated by the growing numbers of the enemies. Nonetheless, it's fun to kill many enemies with the laser gun or with any other weapons, when you pick them up. For example, the enemies die fast and your killing is very efficient when you manage to grab smart missiles.
Pluses: it brings some action spirit right on your desktop.
Drawbacks / flaws: it can totally mess up your desktop if you have tones of files on it, because this game uses a different screen resolution.
In conclusion: this game is good for a little time-out.
