| | This application is a simple tool for counting network traffic generated by your computer. It displays information about download and upload rates, this month's traffic, as well as today's traffic. You can set the starting date for a month's information by accessing the program's settings dialog.
Whenever you exceed a certain amount of traffic, Traffic Counter can alert you. However, it's highly unlikely that you will see the alert, because the program just changes the color of its system tray icon. The data gathered by the program over a period is displayed in separate text files. The first file contains information about the daily traffic, while the second one contains data about the monthly traffic.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: This application doesn't look nice at all. If a newbie programmer would try to write a clone of this program, it would take him a couple of hours of "hard" work to get it done.
In conclusion: In my opinion, Traffic Counter is not worth $29.99.
