If you need to make presentations or write help files, FullShot can help take the best screenshots.There are many ways of capturing depending on what you want: screen capture, window capture, object capture, region capture, document capture (long documents to be scrolled), etc.
With the help of editing features you can quickly resize images, or convert them in other formats. You can add labels, balloons and arrows. If you work with hundreds of images you can add annotations and search them after database. FullShot supports hot keys that are useful for capturing images without interrupting full-screen applications. Into every active title bar of an application, FullShot inserts snapshot buttons. This was an option that I really liked.
Pluses: The convert option; you can add annotations; hot keys; snapshot buttons; every captured image has a tab into the interface.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Before I have used SnagIt, but I can assure that FullShot is much more complex and whatever screenshot you want to make, FullShot can do it.
