 | | Amara Flash Intro and Banner Builder is a tool that can help the web designer create and design animated Flash intros, Flash banners, Flash ads, Flash pop-ups, and any other Flash animation.
I recently became an Amara software fan, because of their high quality releases. This is another good one from the same producer.
The application incorporates the usual easy to use, well structured interface which is typical for this producer. The stability is really good, so I didn't have any problem during testing.
This application is very good if you want to create a nice welcome screen for your own website or for one of your projects. It's also possible to create a nice banner for your site, just as the title of this program says.
Amara Intro and Banner Builder has a powerful built in Flash engine. You don't have to know any programming, as the application does all the work for you. You can add text, effects, sound and a drop of inspiration. The result might be amazing.
If you are a regular user of dedicated photo editing/authoring software and you have the 'know how' for creating your own textures you may add these to your banners or intro pages. The look is a little nicer when using textures for the background instead of simple colors.
Pluses: It has a lot of settings for everything that you will place into those banners or welcome screens. The program is very easy to use, well structured, and has a very intuitive interface. It goes easy on your system resources and creating SWF (Shockwave Flash) objects works very fast.
Drawbacks / flaws: It would have been nice if the application had a minimize button. However, you can still minimize the main window by clicking on the application's taskbar button.
In conclusion: Amara Intro and Banner Builder is a nice tool at a really cheap price considering what it can do to help web developers. It is worth a try.
