| | Burn files and folders, backup and restore files, burn or rip music, burn movies, copy CD/DVD/Blu-ray disks, create and burn images and erase CDs and DVDs with Ashampoo Burning Studio 7. All these modules are integrated in an extremely user friendly interface suitable for every user.
Besides, you can create and burn images in ISO, CUE/BIN and Ashampoo Proprietary format. You can also use the program for multi-disc file backup and restore on CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs; you can create compressed backup archives with powerful password protection; split archives automatically across multiple CDs, DVDs or Blu-Ray discs; restore archive contents to their original locations. In case you wish to backup your audio CDs, you can use the integrated Audio CD ripper to store your audio tracks as WMA, MP3 or WAV files.
Pluses: Ashampoo Burning Studio 7 includes support for the exciting new Blu-Ray format with capacities of up to 25 gigabytes per layer. And in case you are in trouble there is an interactive troubleshooting assistant for solving hardware and media problems. Drawbacks / flaws: The application does not include a cover designer.
In conclusion: Although it does not include a cover designer or CD/DVD emulators, Ashampoo Burning Studio 7 is a very fashionable, cheap and effective application for burning CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray disks. A good alternative for Ahead or Roxio products if you are only into burning.
