It's always nice to see a good freeware utility. Cfont Pro helps you manage your Windows fonts better. I searched for this kind of software for a long time with no success. Therefore, when I found Cfont Pro I was somewhat surprised of what it can do. It has many useful features.

The program is very simple to use. When you start it, you are able to view a list of all the installed fonts on your computer. By clicking any of these fonts, you can see a preview of that font in five different sizes. In addition, you can select to view a magnified version of the "A" character, which is displayed by using the selected font. Another useful feature is the font browser. You can use it to list all the fonts from a folder.

Installing and uninstalling fonts to and from your Windows system, is a snap. You just have to access the File menu to use this features. Cfont Pro provides you with the tools to repair the common problems of your fonts (missing registry key, orphaned font entries, etc). You can also export the installed fonts to a HTML or RTF file. This is nice, because you can preview all the fonts very easily using this feature. Another way of previewing all the fonts is built into the program. If you access the "Display all fonts" submenu of the "Display" menu, a window displaying all the installed fonts will be shown.

Cfont Pro can also automatically show you a slideshow of all the fonts listed in its user interface at a specific moment. The slideshow speed can be adjusted in the "Options" dialog.

Pluses: Searching fonts by their name can be considered a nice extra feature of the program. You can search through the installed fonts, through a folder on your computer, or even through your entire computer.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: Although the program is not perfect, I think it's a good tool for managing fonts. This program is definitely worth keeping.
