| | 'Power Mixer' is an advanced Windows audio mixer that can be used as a replacement for the standard Volume Control. One of its features that I find useful is that you can increase or decrease the sound volume by simply rotating the mouse wheel over its system tray icon.
Another way to control the sound is by holding down the 'CTRL' button and rotating the mouse wheel anywhere on the screen. In this case you will see an on-screen display, which shows you your progress when increasing or decreasing the volume. However, its features do not stop at that. It's also a mixer with advanced volume control support. You can set the speed of the volume adjustment from 2 steps to 100 steps.
If you don't like the presets offered, you can create your own. You can edit them as you wish. Another interesting feature is that you can schedule tasks by selecting the name of the task and what preset it should trigger. After that, you have to specify if you want to run once or on a predefined schedule. If you select to repeat it, you can set the days of the week it should run and at what hours.
The user interface is well structured and easy to use. It can be set in 15 different languages. You can also set the background color and the text color.
Pluses: Is a very complex program and very nice too.
