 | | You can view and edit images with Photo-Lux: it supports a wide range of file types: from BMP, CEL/PIC, RAW, SRF, X3F, RGB/RGBA, RLA/RPF, RLE, SGI/BW to TGA, TIF/TIFF, VDA/VST, WBMP and WMF. Open every image in its own window, preview or view in thumbnail mode and edit using RGB-, Brightness/Contrast/Gamma- correction, Image Rotating to any angle, Auto White Balance and more. You can use lots of filters, including Bump-Map, Gaussian Blur, Prism etc. You can insert 3D-Text in any the image using a 3D-Text drawing tool. You can use the Merge command to insert image data from another graphic file into the current image (for example, to insert a graphic logo into an image) a. "Photo-Lux" allows to apply some filters (like Linear, Bicubic, Mitchell, Lanczos3 etc.) when resizing the image to produce better results. TWAIN - support makes it possible to acquire image data from raster-generating devices such as scanners, digital cameras, and video digitizers. Pluses: The slideshow function can display images with more than 110 image transition effects including wipes, diagonals, pushes, pulls, blinds, and many more plus the option to display file name and size. Images can be sent via email (after configuring the SMTP settings, of course) and the program can even create ZIP archives to be sent via email. The HTML album maker is another plus Drawbacks / flaws:Image conversion is not available. In conclusion: A very good image viewer end editor, with lots of useful and fun features.
