Amara Flash Menu Builder is a tool that can create Flash buttons and menus for your web site fast and easily.
With this program you can say goodbye to CSS and enjoy the look of a nice menu powered by Flash.
The application is compact and its interface is well structured. In fact this application is like any other Amara application: simply great. Usually I don't have so much fun while building Flash menus but this software has changed my point of view.
It comes with all the things that you will need in order to develop a good looking, eye candy menu for your own website or for your projects.
I like very much the support for submenus that will dynamically expand when you will hover over them or if you don't like that you can build your menu in order to expand the submenus when you click the menu button.
The application is very flexible. In fact you can use a custom setting for almost anything. You can even add sounds for the buttons when you hover the pointer over them and a background sound such as your favorite song.
There are two types of menus supported. Both horizontal and vertical menus are easy to create and you can make them do whatever you want them to do. As I said before, there's an option for almost anything.
Choosing the type of menu has only a bad side: the application has a weird behavior when switching the menu types. This is happening because when you choose the type you must choose the template for that type too. There's the place where the weird behavior appears. The rest of the application is brilliant.
Pluses: it has a lot of settings for everything that you will place into those menus, it is very easy to use, well structured, very intuitive interface, it is using low resources and it creates the SWF object very fast.
Drawbacks / flaws: The absence of the minimize button; this can be replaced by clicking the application in the taskbar.
In conclusion: Creating professional look menus powered by Flash was never so fun and easy. The sky is the limit and your own imagination.
