 | | Super Pop'n'Fish is a cool game, which will capture your attention for sure. The easiest way to describe this game is by calling it a fish Tetris game. The objective of the game is to place at least three fish with the same color next to each other. If you accomplish this, they disappear.
The game's manual is in the "Readme.txt" file, but you can also read it inside the game. The gameplay is very simple, so I had no problem understanding the game even before reading the help file. Fish are released in pairs from the bottom of your screen. You can use the mouse to choose where you want them to land. If you wait too much to choose a landing spot, the fish pair will automatically be released.
I had a lot of fun with this game. I was sad when I lost at level five. I played the game for about 20 minutes to reach that level. Each level increases the difficulty through something new, like introducing a different colored fish, an eating fish, or allowing you less time to make the decision where to drop the fish pair. Bonus levels are also provided. In the bonus levels, you move a seahorse on the screen to eat as many fish as you can.
Pluses: It's not too difficult to get a high score. High scores give you discounts when buying the game. You could save some money if you play the game before buying it. Another nice feature of this game is the MP3 player. You can choose a directory with MP3 files, from which the game will play the songs in sequence.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Super Pop'n'Fish is a fun game that challenges your imagination.
