| | PcMedic is an application designed to increase your computer's performance and prevent system crashes. Using an extremely simple interface, you can tune up your computer by selecting your OS, processor and hitting the "GO" button. After gathering system information and querying components, it locates all software installed and writes changes. Needs reboot.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: The program gives you basically no information of the actions performed. You have no idea whether your registry is corrupted or your ActiveX controls need repairing. The same when it comes to repairing. The program shows no information on solved or unsolved problems, so you'll never know what what was wrong with your system and how the problem was solved.
In conclusion: It probably does something, but to be honest, we cannot be specific about that.
