PcBoost is another tool made by PGWARE. Like all the other products of this publisher, you cannot make too many changes to the PC. It is said that this tool can increase performance and speed without any hardware modifications.
In a way the tool is like Task Manager. A graphic will show you the CPU activity of the correspondent application. The main features of this tool are the two options: HIGH Application priority settings, REALTIME application priority settings.
The first option will boost the active application to perform faster than normal. The second one will allow the current application to use all the CPU power. For powerful applications this option can slow your computer.
Like the other applications of this publisher, the interface is extremely easy to use and the application is very concentrated upon two buttons: ok and close.
It seems that you have all the applications installed from this publisher you will get an increase performance of your PC, but if you have only one installed you won't see major effects.
Pluses: simple to use
Drawbacks / flaws: you won't feel any major effects
In conclusion: If you don't have the other applications don't use it.
