SuperDVD Player 5.5.15

As the name suggests, 'SuperDVD' is yet another DVD player. The number of DVD players available on the market is large but many of them are far from what you would expect from a simple DVD player.

When I opened this program I've noticed that the user interface is simple and very intuitive. When I want a DVD player I expect it to work flawlessly. This player seems to have exactly the features you need and one more, maybe to justify the price. Besides the classical play, pause and the other usual commands if features a 'Set playback rate' which is interesting until a certain point. I offers several rates of playback but the most interesting are the last two: 8 and 16. The first of these two is the last one where I was able to see some images at high speed because when you use the last rate you will see the frame where it started and the only thing to inform you that theres a process going one is the timer running.

During the tests, the program worked flawlessly. This program can even take snapshots from your favorite DVD movies. The 'one more' feature mentioned above is the 'TV' one. If you have a TV card you can use this program as a player. It supports AC-3 surround sound up to 5.1 channel. I hope that the producer will improve this in the next release so you can enjoy watching your DVDs on bigger surround systems.

Pluses: Simple and easy to use.
