| | Iphoto is an Internet picture downloader. It gives you the possibility to download and save all the pictures from an Web page. It will recognize all the major formats such as JPG, GIF.
Like other programs, this one is not able to download every picture from the page. Pictures that need to be maximized for a better view, will be saved only as thumbnails, despite the fact that the application has a command for downloading large pictures.
You can get a good result only when you download from simple webpages. From webpages with mixed content, you will get only some thumbnails and banners. Anyway, the speed of download is really fast because Iphoto uses 8 threads for downloading simultaneously.
The application has an active button (sometimes very annoyng), which can be used to return to it, while you are on another application window.
Pluses: It's very fast; the search and download functions can be made from inside the program.
Drawbacks / flaws: It cannot download pictures that must be maximized.
In conclusion: If you need banners, this is a good way to collect them.
