My first impression after installing this software was that I installed an old Windows software. The toolbars are not pretty at all. The top menu uses a quite big font, making me think that this software is designed for people with visual disabilities. In fact the whole user interface looks bad.
The program has a few useful features, which should be able to allow you to organize personal information. Scratchboard uses a tree structure to organize information. There's nothing new here, because most other similar programs use this kind of structure. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to create new nodes. This happened because I didn't realize that I had to hit enter after entering text from the keyboard.
Scratchboard has an auto-save feature. The tree nodes can be bookmarked individually. It's also possible to search through your data by using the built-in search option.
Pluses: The application also offers access to a color picker, calculator, calendar, and a character map.
Drawbacks / flaws: As I said, the user interface is in my opinion a major drawback of this software.
In conclusion: I've seen better. I suggest you also try other programs like
PIMOne.

Scratchboard Publisher's Description
Scratchboard is a time-saving organizer that is designed to provide rapid access to your important information. Data is arranged in a 'tree' structure, just like a hard drive. Text can be entered into each branch of the tree, and copied to the clipboard with a simple double-click. This makes Scratchboard perfect for quickly filling out forms.
