 | | Express Thumbnail Creator offers you a simple way of creating nice looking image galleries. It generates HTML code automatically based on the options you choose. All you do is specify the images you want to create a gallery for, and some simple properties of your gallery. The program generates thumbnails based on the size you choose.
The program looks just like an installation wizard. Your gallery is generated by following 6 simple steps. First, you select to create a new project. Then you add the images and define the title of your gallery. The next step allows you to customize the thumbnails' size, the appearance of your images, and other miscellaneous properties of the generated web pages. For example, you can select a style that is best suited with your gallery. Step 5 is used to actually generate the gallery, while in step 6 you can choose to save your current project. projects will be saved as HTML pages containing images and thumbnails.
Every feature of this program is very easy to use. This makes me believe that the publisher had a novice user in mind when they created this software. However, some extra options convinced me it's not only for beginners. If you know HTML programming, you can edit the gallery templates manually inside the program's user interface. In fact, there are only two templates, one for the index pages and the other for image pages. On the index pages multiple thumbnails appear, while on image pages only one picture is shown, using its normal size.
Pluses: You can add shadows to your images and thumbnails. In my opinion, these shadows look very nice on a white background.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Express Thumbnail Creator offers very customizable output, as well as a simple interface that is easy to manage.
