| | 'Atani' is a GIF and AVI animator. It features a lot of effects and settings which help you achieve impressive results. As input it uses some of the most used file types like BMP, GIF, JPG, ICO,and PNG. With the help of the graphic editor you can edit every picture used in the process.
It also supports drag and drop to import the pictures. You can add sounds and colors to AVI files. The effects are grouped in four categories: 'Artistic', 'Distort', 'Mode', and 'Stylize'. A large part of it's main window is used for previewing your work in progress. Each frame can be edited using the built-in graphic editor, or moved in the timeline.
When I first tested the program, I used a wizard which guided me through the process of creaton AVI or GIF files. For a new user may be a bit difficult to find all its features considering that the options, the effects and other tools are abundant.
More than 60 filters are available for applying on any frame of your animation. Each of these filters has its own options to configure, making them very customizable. The tools that this program incorporates are: the AVI viewer, the screen capture utility with possibility of generating animated files and the frame editor.
Pluses: Many effects which help you edit the pictures you use. The user can create animated alpha blending effects, flying text, or clone any of the animation's frames.
