| | Driver Magician is a powerful backup and restore application for drivers installed on your system. It is very easy to use. After a new installation of the OS, this tool can be the best solution for recovering your drivers.
The idea of this application is to help you recover the installed driver configurations that you had before the OS crashed. The application can also identify the non-OS drivers. The backup process is very fast and can be done manually or scheduled (automated). The application can even backup the registry, the Internet Explorer Favorites folder, the Desktop, and My Documents folder. The backup output can be in folders, compressed files or self-extracting packages (EXE files).
Another powerful tool is the LiveUpdate device, which detects the new devices and connects to the Internet to update your drivers with the new versions. For a quick identification, the non-OS drivers are shown in red. You can easily select a few of these drivers or all of them in order to obtain the backup files.
Pluses: Fast backup and restore process'; the possibility to compress the backup files, and the LiveUpdate device that gives you the possibility to keep your drivers up-to-date.
