 | | 'Power Video Converter' is a multipurpose video processing tool that allows you to convert, join, and split video files, as well as extract audio or images from video files.
You can convert mpg, mpeg, dat, mov, avi, wmv, asf, flv, mp4, mov, 3gp,rm and vob video files to mpeg (in DVD, SVCD or VCD formats too), to AVI (including the DivX format and MPEG 4), or to Windows Media Format (ASF) or to any other media format. If you want to convert files, you can choose the output format and presets: the file height and width, frame rate, resize it, or choose a video and audio compressor. You can take advantage of the tips and get the job done in no time. A multi-task batch execute function is also included, so that you add several task to a list to be performed with only one click. Trimming of files is an extra option for the conversion process.
Besides converting multimedia files, you can also joined two or more files into a single one, you can split files in several smaller files. Another useful tool is the audio extractor: you can extract audio from video files and save it to mp3, wav or wma file format. Screenshots can be created using the 'Extract Images' tool.
Pluses: The program comes with built-in codecs, so you don't need to download and install third party codecs.
