WinX DVD Ripper is a very useful tool designed to help you convert your favorite DVDs to various video formats: AVI, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MOV, FLV. You can also use this application to extract audio from DVDs and save it in MP3 format.

The DVD ripping (or conversion) process is quite easy to complete due to the program's intuitive interface. You have quick access to all the conversion options and preferences. You can convert DVDs inserted into your disk drive or DVD's stored on your hard drive. Once you insert a disk in your optical unit, it will be automatically enqueued for conversion. You can choose to rip only a file or you can batch convert entire DVD's.

Like I said before, you can choose between several output file formats: AVI, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MOV, FLV. You can easily select your output format by clicking on its tab: the settings will be visible, so that you can select your output preferences such as an output directory, subtitle language, start and end time. The ripping (conversion) process duration may vary depending on your processor speed. There's an option for automatically shutting down the computer when the process is complete, so you may start ripping and go to bed, grab a bite or take a walk.
