WFilter Enterprise is a complex monitoring and filtering software designed for employee management and control. This app can be used to monitor every computer in a network so you can install it on a Windows machine in order to monitor up to 500 computers.

The setup process is quick and simple, but if you are behind routers, firewalls, switches, you will have to see the config documentation in order to start monitoring your network. Once the setup and configuration are complete, the application can be started using a web browser.

This app is huge, I mean there are dozens of features and settings which help you, as an administrator, have a complex and complete view of all internet and intranet activity performed on every monitored machine. You can view active connections established by each computer, online browsing, file transfers and current activities. There is also the possibility of real-time monitoring of bandwidth and file transfers.

You can filter Internet traffic by blocking website access, messengers or file transfers. Besides, you can detect and block peer-to-peer traffic to any computer, block online gaming, and so on. You can actually block pretty much anything related to Internet traffic, in all over 90 protocols and software.

A very important part of this app is the reporting section: you can view an print out daily summaries of computer activity, general and activity statistics, web, email, chat, bandwidth, file, alert and standard reports.

Pluses: Monitored data will be stored in local file system (In the File-based version) or monitored data will be stored in a database supported by SQL Server and MySQL Server.
