Ad Annihilator is an Internet Explorer add-on which helps you get rid of unwanted banners, popups and cookies, thus turning Web surfing into a real pleasure.
Ad Administrator will not only improve your surfing quality, but it will also improve the speed of loading Web pages into your Web browser. It will display a graph which will monitor the page loading speed and a table containing information about the page loading progress, the downloaded resources, popup windows, cookies and statistics.
Ad Annihilator can be configured manually (by advanced users) or you can use the default settings. You can set pop-up, cookie and banner filters. When running in “Simple mode” it will only block banners, popups and cookies. In ”Advanced Mode” it can be used for offline browsing, Web document search and management, etc.
Besides blocking unwanted content, there are some other fine options for the advanced users: support for Web document versions; sharing of retrieved documents; organizer for retrieved documents;explorer for web documents structure; search option for downloaded documents; program statistics.
Pluses: A feature which I liked a lot was the way documents are updated in cache, especially the option of not caching secure documents and thus protecting your privacy against phishing or identity theft.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Although Internet Explorer has an in-built pop-up killer, this program allows you to control in detail the content of your loading pages, eliminating the unwanted items.

I'm deleting this right now! It filters alright. Too well. It filtered everything. Banners, popups, links, pictures. I had to turn it off to even use the internet.
Trying to lower its settings made my computer freeze.
I'm deleting this thing from my computer right now.
Superb product Excellent and very efficient ad blocker. My web surfing style considerably changed since I installed this product. The web pages became cleaner without flashing annoying advertisements scattered through them. Never saw any unwanted pop-up with it. Sites seem to load faster. A superb "must have" product!
