 | | Flash Video MX Pro is a compact conversion software designed for all those who wish to convert video files to Flash files (FLV, SWF). The application supports a wide variety of input video formats such as MPEG, WMV, AVI, MOV, RM, VOB, 3GP, DV etc. The output Flash files can be inserted automatically into an HTML files, if you choose so.
Basically, converting a file is quite a quick and easy 4 step process. First, you need to select the file you wish to convert. There are a few options you can use to edit the file such as: add effects, add a watermark from file or text, crop image, trim or insert CuePoints.
Next, you will get to the stage where you can select custom settings for the output file: you can add video prelude and/or curtain, re-size the video, select codec, modify the framerate and keyframe interval, add fade in or fade out effects.
The third step is all about the player skin: you can select one of the 16 available preloaders, one of the 9 player skins or you can add special effects if you like. The fourth step is actually a summary of all the settings you've selected so far; you only need to select the output path.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: The only drawback is the fact that you need to install extra codecs in order to convert Windows Media, QuickTime Media, RealOne Media and AVI files; so the app feels somehow incomplete
In conclusion: The conversion jobs are excellent, it's easy to use, but no codecs included, I'm afraid.
