 | | Hidetools Child Control is a system security tool designed to help you restrict Internet access for your kids. As we all know, when surfing the Internet, your kids may come across explicit material inappropriate for viewing at their age.
'Child Control' is a simple tool which, once you've downloaded and installed, can be used to prevent access to restricted resources such as web pages or applications installed on the computer. After setup, you can protect the program with a password in order to prevent access to it's settings. The program will run in the background, automatically blocking the access to the selected items.
You can block the usage of web browsers (Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox), online messengers (MIRC, ICQ, MSN Messenger, Skype) or you can block websites by adding keywords to a blacklist. You can also block programs, files, folders or windows containing the words in a blacklist. Just add them to the blacklist and access will be restricted. You can also see a history of forbidden websites visited and windows executed.
