Set Icon is a small application that lets you quickly and easily set a custom icon for one your drives.
Just select your drive, drag an ICNS file to the image box and click ‘Set Icon’.
Set Icon applies custom icons in such a way that they appear correctly both in Leopard’s side bar and in the Boot Camp chooser.
I created this application because of the emails that I get from people having problems applying my ‘My Book Icons’ to their external hard drives.
I will be updating Set Icon very soon to include even more functionality, as it is, Set Icon should be treated as beta software and I accept no responsibility for any problems it may cause.
It is Leopard only for now, I will create a Tiger compatible release in the near future.
