Advanced Vista Optimizer 2009 3.5

Advanced Vista Optimizer 2008 is a suite of system tools designed to help you improve your computer's overall performance by optimizing its settings, increasing the security level, customizing features, cleaning junk files and many more.

As soon as I've installed it, I've noticed that the best thing about this program is the fact that it has a feature called 'One Click Care'. Basically, this means that you can perform a system scan and optimize you computer actually with two mouse clicks. This automated task will re-allocate system resources, manage start-up programs, protect sensitive data, remove unused files, optimize the memory and tune up your computer for reasonable security.

Apart from that, there's an entire series of tools you can use separately for maintaining and optimizing every feature of your operating system, hard drives, CPU and memory. The user interface is wittily designed and it's very easy to navigate and choose the tool you wish to use. On the top of the program window, there's an Explorer like navigation bar, while on the left hand side of program window you can find optimization tool categories.

Let's have a look at the tools grouped in those categories I've been talking about. First of all, there's the 'One Click Care' all-in-one optimization tool. Then, in the 'System Information' category you'll be able to see a compete summary of your system, manage processes and monitor your hard disks. If you go to the 'Optimization' category, you can increase your system speed, perform system tweaks and hardware tweaks as well as optimize physical memory and defragment your hard drives.

Moving on to the 'Security' category, here you'll find some tools you can use for system security, file encryption, secure file deletion as well as blocking programs you don't wish to execute. Of course, there's also a 'Customization' category, where you can personalize pretty much any Windows and Internet Explorer features. A junk file cleaner, privacy protector and duplicate file finder will help you keep you computer clean and safe. These tools can be found in the category called 'Cleaner'. Last, but not least, the 'Maintain' category will provide direct access to Vista utilities and assist you when uninstalling programs. You can also use a file splitter and joiner and a mass file renamer.

In conclusion: Given all these features, it is advisable to shut down other running programs in case you have a slower machine in order to get the best out of this program. I must say it's worth every penny.
