Manage PC Shutdown is, as the title suggests, a handy system utility you can use for automating actions such as computer shutdown, restart, stand, by, hibernate, log off and so on.

After installation, the program will run in the background and you can bring it up on the desktop by double clicking the icon in the system tray. You can automate quite a lot of tasks with the help of this program: you can set the computer to shutdown, hibernate, log off, switch user, stand by, turn off monitor, start screen saver, restart and hang up the Internet (dial-up) connection. You can create shortcuts on the Desktop for any of these actions. Besides, all these actions can be performed on a local computer on a remote computer. In case you wish to shutdown, restart or perform actions on remote computers, you need to make sure sure you have privileges on that remote computer.

Actions can be performed considering 5 criteria: on time, on countdown, on process stops, when CPU usage is low or when the battery is low. Besides performing the above mentioned actions, the program can be set to empty the Recycle Bin on action, disable the Task Manager key combination, hide the Shutdown and Log Off buttons in the Start Menu. You can also set the program to run an executable file before an action. For example, you can automatically run a system cleaning program before shutting down your computer.
