SoundConverter is a small and handy audio file converter. It can be used to convert between lots of audio formats. Besides, the program can also be used for ripping CDs.

The file format list is quite impressing, yet I couldn't find an important format: MID. On the other hand, the program is very easy to use due to the fact that the interface has been simplified to minimum options. You can only choose the output file settings. The output directory will be the same as original file location. Files can also be dragged-and-dropped into the program window. As soon as the files will be loaded, the conversion process will start automatically. Batch conversion is supported as well as tags for MP3, OGG and FLAC file types.

Pluses: The conversion process is very fast. The program is very easy to handle and thus, ergonomic.

Drawbacks / flaws: You can't convert files to MIDI, there's no option for listening to the tracks you want to convert. Very few output options.

In conclusion: This program is recommended for those who care about a quick conversion of files and need few options.
