| | Cute Password Manager is a data security tool designed to safeguard all passwords and online identities.
The program stores your identities (user names) and passwords in so called 'info cards'. The nice thing that I've noticed about this application is the fact that is very efficient. This means that creating an info card is a quick and easy process. After you have filled in a the login fields, when you press 'Enter' or click on 'Sign in' (or 'Log in' etc.) a small window will pop-up prompting you to save your login and password into an AES encrypted infocard. Infocards can be organized into directories.
You can set a master password to protect the data stored by the program and you can lock the program or set it to automatically lock after a custom period of time. The application not only stores your login details, but it also helps you quickly login to any account saved as an info card. The program will run in the background, so you can right click on the icon, select your info card and the program will automatically log you in by opening a new browser window.
The program can be integrated into Internet Explorer and Maxthon. Identities stored by the application can be backed up and restored as well as imported from Internet Explorer cache or a password file. Exporting of identities is supported in TXT, XLS and CSV file format.
Pluses: The program contains a password generator in case you need strong passwords.
Drawbacks / flaws: Mozilla and Opera integration would have been nice.
In conclusion: A nice and useful identity manager and password generator.
