All Monitor 2.1

AllMonitor is an application designed to help you keep an eye on all computer activity while you are away. Actually, besides logging computer activity, the program can be used as an Internet browsing manager, a process manager and a firewall, so to speak.

The program can be used to track the applications used, the typed keystrokes and visited websites. You can also track the emails sent and received via local email clients and you can create a log for uploads and downloads via FTP clients. You can view detailed logs regarding the computer activity and statistics as well as screenshots. Logs can be exported in HTML format.

You can also prevent access to websites by creating a list of keywords or you can block access by creating a blacklist of URLs. Running processes can be displayed in another list with the possibility to end any of them. The same goes for autorun applications. There's also an option for un-installing programs, including Windows updates.

The user interface is quite nice and appealing, the program is very easy to use and it can be protected with a password in order to prevent unauthorized access to its features. The program can be run hidden from the taskbar or system tray, so nobody would notice that they are being tracked down.

Pluses:

Drawbacks / flaws: When logging key strokes, the program won't indicate in which window those words or symbols were typed in. The program has no option of sending logs and screenshots via email.

The firewall is actually a process blocker: you can create a custom list of precesses that will be blocked for Internet access. The firewall won't detect or block hacking attempts or other types of intrusion attempts.

In conclusion: Although it looks pretty, the program has some flaws which need to be corrected in order to be an effective monitoring solution.
