A1 Website Download is a program you can use to download the entire content of a website, save it on your local drive and then view it offline.

In order to download a website's content, you need to enter the website directory root path (URL), the path for saved files and start the scan. After the scan is complete, the program will create a sitemap. When the process is complete, you can view the site offline using the in-built browser, or any other browser installed if it provides a better viewing experience.

The user interface is structured into tabs, so that you can easily configure and use the program. The crawling process is structured into three tabs: 'Scan Website', 'Analyze Website' and 'View Website'. The options are also structured into tabs. Here we have paths, conversion option settings, crawler engine settings, identification and filters. You can also customize the output filters and the data connection.

Among the crawler options, you can specify the content type, the number of maximum simultaneous connections, the option of using a proxy.

Pluses:

Drawbacks / flaws: I couldn't find a filter which would allow me to specify the content to be downloaded: for example, I wanted to download only the pictures from a website, but I had to get the entire content. The program is a bit unstable. When I tried to do download the content of a large site and canceled the process, the program froze for a while.

In conclusion: This program appears to be very good website crawler and offline viewer.
