| | Power Audio Cutter is, as stated in the title, an audio file editing tool designed to chop audio files in order to get the desired sizing.
The program interface is neat and user friendly. Access to all features is provided from the main program window so that you don't have to navigate through complicated menus. Cutting of files is a very easy thing to do. Just select the source file and the output path, set the start and the end time and hit the 'Cut' button. If you wish to perform another cutting operation on the same file, you can click the 'Clear mark' button. Advanced users can also set the output format settings, where available.
Besides cutting the audio file, the program can also perform file conversion. This means that you can select another file format for the output file and the program will cut and convert the file in a single operation. The supported audio file formats are: WAV, MP3, M4A, WMA, AMR, RM, OGG, MPC, AU, Aiff
Pluses: The
Drawbacks / flaws: Unfortunately, the program has no support for MID and 3GP files. Besides, there's no option for cutting a file into several clips of the same size. No support for batch files.
