| | As the name suggests, 'Youtube Download ' is a program designed for only one purpose, to help you download Youtube media files.
The program is very easy to use due to the usability of the user interface and to an interesting feature. When you copy a link from YouTube it will be automatically placed into the URL area of the program if the program is started. So the only things to do after selecting the file to download are: to provide the path and the name for the newly saved file and press the download button. In the unregistered version you can select different output file types but you can't modify their properties.
While testing the program I saw a 'Folder' button but when I tried it nothing happened. Then I've tried reading the 'Help' file but I wasn't able to find it. Maybe it's not available if you don't register. Another feature which is not available until you pay is 'Converter'. When you press the 'Converter' button a message will appear asking you to buy the full version. There's even a 'Buy Now' button on its user interface. I wonder what will happen with that button after you pay? Unfortunately the program is a little unstable and a couple of errors appear when you start downloading a file, but fortunately the downloaded file can be played.
Pluses: It is easy to use and the auto-complete URL feature is very useful.
Drawbacks / flaws: It has some stability problems.
In conclusion: Considering that the number of available Youtube download softwares is very consistent and many of them are free I don't see why I have to pay to get a program with stability problems. Or maybe those problems disappear after you register.
