 | | 'Ashampoo Music Studio', as the name suggests, is a software meant to help you create, edit, and manage your digital music collection.
The program can run in normal mode or in expert mode. In 'Normal mode' you'll get detailed explanations so if you are new to this type of programs, it will be easy for you to make certain decisions. In 'expert mode' the explanations will be scarce but if you are familiar with formats and parameters or sample rates you might prefer this mode. The language support is pretty good. It supports as many as twenty languages. The use of the program is very well structured, with features grouped into categories. Each feature is structured on a wizard-like interface.
One of the features is 'Burn Files'. The program can burn CD, DVD and Blu-Ray discs. This is a very useful and also necessary feature. Among the rest of the features I've noticed 'Record Audio'. This works very good and will record from many sources for as long as you want. Unfortunately, you can't set the amount of time to be recorded so, in case you want to record your favorite radio show, you have to be there to stop the recording or else it will keep recording. This is not such a big problem because you can later trim the file or cut the unwanted parts in the 'Modify Files' area. There you can change the file format, edit the files, normalize the file volumes to standard level, or edit the file tags.
The user interface looks good and it's intuitive. If you are new to this kind of programs and start using it on normal mode you shouldn't have any problem.
Pluses: Nice user interface and easy to use. It brings a big number of features.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: I enjoyed testing this program. You should try it.
