 | | ImTOO Video Editor is a very useful video tool which allows you to join, cut and split a large variety of video files. The program supports 3GPP and 3GPP2 files, AVI files, Macromedia Flash files, QuickTime files, MPEG4 files, RAW h264 video files, Windows Media files and MPEG files.
The program is quite simple to install and use. When you start it, you'll see a window with three icons. Depending on what you wish to do, you can click on either of the three buttons: Join, Split, Cut.
In case you wish to join two or more video files, you need to select the files (or an entire directory containing video files), choose the output format, resolution (resizing method), framerate and bitrate and the destination folder. Next, you can hit the 'Join' button, sit back and relax.
When splitting files, after you choose the source and destination for output files, you need to configure your file splitting settings. You can either manually split files by setting splitting points on the time line or you can choose to automatically split files into segments, into equally sized files or files of the same duration.
The cutting of files is even more simple: all you need to do is to choose the source and output files, set the cutting points on the time line and that's all.
Pluses: Before each operation you can preview the files using the inbuilt player. In case you wish to join different file types, you can choose the output file format. After the completion of a process, you can set the computer to automatically shut down, hibernate, stand by, or you can simply choose to close the application.
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: Simple, direct, effective. Excellent!
