 | | Google It! is a simple widget which can be used to search the content of your Windows clipboard on the Google search engine. It uses the .NET Framework 3.0 and works on both Windows XP and Vista.
Using the program is very simple. You just need to copy some text into the Windows Clipboard, and the program automatically displays a semi-transparent button at the top of your screen. When you click this button, you are redirected to a search page from Google. This page contains the results of your search.
You may wonder how come this software is free. Well, the answer is that the search page that you are redirected to, is, in fact, a special Google AdSense results page. When users click on these ads, Google shares the revenue with the web publisher (in this case with Google It!'s developers).
Pluses: A simple tutorial for learning how to use the program is available when you right click the program's icon in the system tray.
Drawbacks / flaws: The fact that nothing happens when you click the program's icon in the system tray can be a bit misleading at first.
In conclusion: If you use 'Google search' a lot, this program can come in handy.
