Stamp ID3 Tag Editor 2.04

Stamp ID3 Tag Editor allows you to edit or add extended information to MP3 files. It supports batch tag editing and it only updates the tags that were modified. Its interface is quite simple and once you get the hang of it, things become obvious.

When I installed this software, lots of windows popped up, so I thought that something is wrong. Well, I realized later that the installer automatically opens all the applications it installs, including Stamp ID3 Tag Editor. The file that you can download from our website comes from the publisher and is, in fact, a package that contains 4 other applications called Golden Records, Express Burn, WavePad, and Switch. These applications are started automatically whenever you want to edit, convert, or burn audio.

Beside writing ID3 tags, you can also use Stamp ID3 Tag Editor to clear these tags. Each file from the program's audio file list can be played back with a simple click. A popup window opens, allowing you to view the audio histogram of the file that's being played.

Pluses:

Drawbacks / flaws: When you close Stamp ID3 editor, you are automatically directed to the publisher's web page. Another thing I don't like is the fact that it's impossible to add entire folders to the program's song list.

In conclusion: With a bit of improvement, I think Stamp ID3 Tag Editor could become one of my favorite tools for ID3 tag editing. For now, I'll just say that it's a pretty good tool.
