'Folder Castle' is one of the best data security programs I've ever tested. It can be run in two modes. The first one is the normal mode. In this mode the program is visible. The second mode is the most interesting one. This is the stealth mode. The program is invisible and you will control it only from shortcut keys. When you use this program to hide your files and folders they won't become semi-visible when you choose to see hidden files on your computer. While your files and folders are invisible its almost impossible to delete them. The best part is that you can hide entire hard-drive partitions. In this case the partition won't disappear but will not be accessible.
Unfortunately the password can be discovered with a key-logger. The producer doesn't offer any alternative for entering the password safely. The only way to do that is by using the Microsoft On-Screen keyboard. When used in the stealth mode the program disappears even from the list of installed programs so it's virtually impossible for someone to uninstall it. I mentioned above that you can hide your partitions. I recommend you to this only when you use the program in normal mode because it can hide only your files if used in stealth mode.
Pluses: Easy to use.
Drawbacks / flaws: No protection against key-loggers.
In conclusion: This is an interesting program. I recommend you to try it.
