Crawler Notes 4.5.5.9

CrawlerNotes is a desktop sticky notes simulator. Basically, the program is a small office utility which can be helpful for keeping track of the the things you need to do during one day.

The program is very easy to install and use. Before finishing the setup, you have the option to set 'Crawler' as your default search engine and homepage. Another usability option is the possibility to add a quick access button in Internet Explorer.

Like I said before, using the program is a walk in the park: create new notes which can stay on top of all active windows or can be rendered transparent. Write down your important tasks and you make sure you won't forget to accomplish them. The notes can be customized: you can set the background color, transparency level, font type, and size and so on. You can set the program to start with Windows and once it's been started, you can create a note by double clicking the icon on the desktop, or you can have access to advanced options by right clicking the same icon.

You can set notifications to appear only in the Systray, on the Desktop or both. In order to make sure you won't miss a notification, Desktop notifications can appear always on top of all open windows.

Pluses: You can also install a 'Crawler Toolbar for Desktop Notes' in order to have a quicker and easier access to the program features. If you find the toolbar annoying, you can uninstall it without uninstalling the program. The customizable toolbar is similar to the Google toolbar and will provide you shortcuts to web resources.

Drawbacks / flaws: You can't create reminders, so, if you minimize a note and forget about it, you're done.

In conclusion: A nice and useful office tool.
