DropImageURL converts full web pages into TIFF format graphic files.
DropImageURL creates an image from a web page. You can chose which image file format to get, the output folder and a scale preference. The scale bar helps you choose in percent how much from the web site to "drop".
In order to get this software working you will need to drag and drop into a "webloc" into DropImageURL . The "webloc" is a file that contains the web page link. You can easily create the "webloc" by just selecting the address from your browser and drog'n'dropping it to desktop. When you have that "webloc", drag it to DropImageURL from the dock bar. You won't be able to get a preview of the output file. A nice feature for the software would be to drag the web page link directly.
Pluses: a great variety of output file formats.
Drawbacks / flaws: you have to create a "webloc" before actually using the software. No preview available.
In conclusion: DropImageURL is an easy way to make a screenshot from web sites. You can try an alternative freeware such as
Paparazzi!.
